He brought fame to Art Directors by turning into a star figure by creating a replica of the 400 year old heritage monument – Charminar and the Old Hyderabad City neighborhood in the Telugu motion picture “Okkadu”. He has also created fantasy sets for the astounding thriller film “Arundhathi”. As of late his Art Direction for the film Dhamarukam was positively criticized as adding value to the film. From among 148 movies he had worked upon, more than 155 are from Telugu film industry. A lot of them have won numerous national and state awards. He worked for 8 Tamil, 7 Malayalam and 5 Kannada movies also. He helped design the sets of 8 Hindi films as well. He started his career as an art director and creator of advertisements. He also received wide acclaim for the sensational sets he created on several reverential occasions such as Srinivasa Kalyanam celebrated at Ongole and other chronicled mythological occasions such as the celebration of 500 years of King Sri Krishna Devaraya’s Coronation which was held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Hyderabad, Chandragiri and Penugonda.
